Lessons from Life

Lessons from Life

Bring out the Emotion
With Joy and Tears
For without it we do not have the Human Condition

Take out the Trash
For with it we reek of Decay and Rot
And without it we smell of roses and lavender

Throw out all Bad Habits
And live life free of Guilt and Shame
Because life goes on with or without

Bring on the Troubles
For we need to see the Thorns
In Hiding or Secret the Thorns can Deflate

Take on the Challenges
For life to be fulfilled
We need to be reminded that life is worthwhile

Throw caution to the wind
And live every day like it is your last
But plan ahead for a rainy season

Bring the good times to the present
As the present is the only time we have
The future is unpredictable and the past is history

Take up the offer of someone you love
And watch the perks unfold
Just like a daily joyride

Throw out bad memories from your heart
And watch as the day sparkles
For good times are worth remembering

Many may scoff, jibe and ridicule
But if your heart can forgive
And your mind can absorb and release
Then no matter the issues
Survival is individual and lasting
None can point
And none can pinpoint
For it is in ourselves only
To make someone feel special
And loved
A feeling that is as powerful as the sunlight on our face
And the rain on our back.

Elixir

Elixir

Let’s blend together on a focal point of admiration
Your bubbling enthusiasm and bubbly nature
Can provide an invisible but detectable pleasantness
Your lissome and lithe murmuring can provide deep affection
And be the panacea.

I need a talisman
For a summery and sumptuous existence
And an umbrella for the woebegone days
For even in vestigial amounts
Your love can be the panacea.

Even a ripple has an effect on the banks of a river
And provide a scintilla of longing
To a redolent future
Serendipity is waiting everywhere
And is the answer or panacea.

There is a wherewithal
For in the waving and inclination
A quintessential idea can be born
And be the incipient to a cozy nook
And provide a panacea.

We can have an opulent love
This can be evocative and pleasant
And the glamour can cause us to gambol
And imbue an epiphany
The panacea is staring us in the face.

Today we may be demure
And we may need a bungalow in a bucolic site
Because love can be the solution
To a flowering and blooming life
With gossamer and halcyon days.

Let it Begin.
